April can get warm (30–34°C midday), but Rishikesh's riverside location keeps it cooler than nearby plains. Schedule all adventure activities before noon — rafting at 8 AM feels pleasant with river spray. Bungee and camping are better in late afternoon. The Ganges water is refreshingly cool and swimming/cliff jumping is very popular in April. By evening, temperatures drop to a comfortable 20–22°C.
