November is underrated in Mussoorie. Daytime temperatures (12–18°C) are perfect for long walks; only mornings and evenings require a jacket. The complete absence of tourist crowds means you experience Mussoorie as it actually is — a small Himalayan hill town with Victorian-era architecture, pine forests, and clear mountain air. Mall Road in November feels like a local market, not a tourist trap. For travelers who hate crowds, November is Mussoorie's best month.

Mussoorie town itself rarely sees snow before late December. However, the higher points — Lal Tibba (2,275 m) and Dhanaulti (2,286 m) — can receive light snowfall from late November onwards in heavy winters. Fresh snow is more likely in December–January. What you will see in November: the snowcapped higher Himalayan peaks (Kedarnath, Bandarpunch, Srikantha) in perfect clarity, and frost on Landour lawns on cold mornings.
