About This Tour

This unique package combines the two most revered Char Dham shrines — Kedarnath and Badrinath — with a visit to Tungnath, the world's highest Shiva temple at 3,680 metres. Spanning 7 days from Haridwar, it's the ideal yatra for pilgrims who want a deeper Himalayan spiritual experience without committing to the full 10-day Char Dham circuit.

The journey begins with Kedarnath darshan — reached by a 16 km trek from Gaurikund — followed by a detour through Chopta to Tungnath temple. The trek to Tungnath (3.5 km from Chopta) adds an adventurous dimension to the pilgrimage before you continue to Badrinath, the final and most auspicious destination, nestled at 3,133 metres in the Garhwal Himalaya.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Your sacred Do Dham journey begins with an early morning departure from Haridwar. As Junegiri Yatra's vehicle winds through the Garhwal Himalayas, you'll pass through Devprayag and Rudraprayag — breathtaking confluence points where holy rivers meet amid forested gorges. The drive is a feast for the senses, with snow-capped ridgelines, riverside villages, and mountain air setting the tone for the pilgrimage ahead. Arrive in Guptkashi by evening, check into your hotel, rest, and prepare for the spiritual days that await.

What Travelers Say

★★★★★
Combining Kedarnath, Tungnath and Badrinath in one trip was the most spiritually fulfilling experience of my life. Junegiri planned it seamlessly.
Suresh Iyer
Chennai

This 7-day circuit starts and ends in Haridwar. Key milestones: Gaurikund (Kedarnath base), Chopta (Tungnath base), Badrinath. All three destinations are in Uttarakhand's Garhwal region. Mana village — India's last village near the China border — is a short drive from Badrinath and worth visiting. Mobile connectivity is limited at Kedarnath and Badrinath; inform family before entering the hills.
