According to Hindu legend, the great sage Bhrigu used this crystal-clear lake for bathing, and local communities still conduct annual rituals here.</p><p>The approach from <strong>Gulaba</strong> (on the Manali–Rohtang road) climbs through rhododendron meadows and open grassland, passing the beautiful intermediate camp at <strong>Rola Kholi</strong>. Unlike many Himachal treks that require long valley walks to reach the alpine zone, Bhrigu Lake gets you into open meadows and mountain views within hours of leaving the trailhead.
