Drive Manali to Chandigarh (280 km, 7 hrs) then Chandigarh to Haridwar (220 km, 3.5 hrs) — total ~10 hrs. Or drive via Mandi–Shimla–Nahan–Haridwar for a more scenic route (~8 hrs). Road is the only practical option from Manali.
Route 1 (via Chandigarh): Manali → Mandi → Bilaspur → Chandigarh → Roorkee → Haridwar — ~500 km, 10 hrs. Route 2 (scenic, shorter): Manali → Mandi → Nahan → Paonta Sahib → Haridwar — ~450 km, 8 hrs. Route 2 is faster in good weather.
